Wave of restaurant openings hits KC despite staff issues – Kansas City, Missouri

It is as if the restaurant gods have lit up. Restaurants and bars have suddenly become busy in recent weeks (Related: Everyone adopted). And while the general public is clearly ready to eat and drink, that doesn’t mean the place is as open as it used to be. Many restaurants have limited opening hours, and many restaurants are only open for dinner service later in the week. For example, on a recent (and very rare) Saturday night outing, my husband and I find a downtown / crossroads / west restaurant that serves food and drinks open after 10pm. I had a hard time. There are dozens of waiting customers lined up a block south of the Broadway location (and I love TT, but that love is definitely limited). Another Sunday afternoon, despite an empty dining room, I and my visiting parents were told it would take over an hour to wait for a table at our beloved local fried chicken restaurant . Houses.

In addition, supply chain issues continue to affect. all.. Eaters should go to all restaurants, knowing that their favorite foods are more expensive or may not be available. You have to ride on it. 2020 will stay alive!

Supply and demand are strange. For some reason, a shortage of staff and supplies hasn’t stopped us from opening many new restaurants in Kansas City, from luxury new Thai restaurants in Lehwood to tacos in Prairie Village and 39th Avenue pubs in Volker. . Here are some of the last places in town to get plates and cocktails.
