Time Out Market New York reopens May 27

New York, we missed you. Fortunately, we will be reunited soon. Just in time for summer, to be exact! We’re excited to officially announce the reopening of Time Out Market New York on Thursday, May 27, just before Memorial Day weekend.

In addition to our opening date, we’re also excited to share some of our must-see opening weekend events. (It’s gonna be a party!) Come celebrate with us on DUMBO’s waterfront for the long weekend and enjoy dinner and a show with the following artistic and cultural events:

• Singer at the top of the charts of alternative countries Queen esther
• Graffiti painter born in New York, world renowned, Hoacs
• Augmented reality work presented by Studio Kaleida
• Whimsical performance artists presented by Coney Island United States

In the meantime, the main attraction of the market remains our range of starred local chefs. Along with a few old favorites, we have a few more names we can announce today, including Sugar Hill Creamery, Fornino, Wayla, and Tiki Chick. Here’s your first look at our reopening list:

Sugar Hill Creamery Created by husband and wife duo Nick Larsen and Petrushka Bazin Larsen, this place is known for its sweet ice cream concoctions inspired by their Caribbean and Midwestern origins, and Harlem their home for over 15 years.

Fornino Dig into some irresistible Artisan pizza from Brooklyn chef Michael Ayoub combining traditional techniques with raised toppings and perfect crusts.

Wayla VShef Tom Naumsuwan offers a new take on homemade Thai cuisine with an innovative menu inspired by the market.

Tiki chick Enjoy Chef Jacob Hadjigeorgis’ brand new foray into delicious stacked sandwiches.

Chote Miya There has never been a better time for Indian cuisine in New York City thanks to talented chefs like Chote Miya’s Satinder Vij. This menu, inspired by Mumbai’s most popular street eateries, is packed with recipes that Indian food purists and fans of modern Indian restaurants (like sister restaurant Gupshup) can afford.

Jacob’s Pickles This south-facing place specializes in comfort foods that are hard to say no to. Sample home cooking, punctuated with a fried Oreo for dessert, right here in Brooklyn.

Ivy Stark Mexology In this city, we love our taquerias and Mexican food trucks, but for many of us, the first time we chose a fancy taco or a fancy dinnerware guac was at an Ivy Stark restaurant.

Pat LaFrieda – Meat Suppliers From the much-vaunted Black Label burger at Minetta Tavern to Shake Shack patties, Pat LaFrieda rules the country as the undisputed king of meat. Here you can enjoy delicious sandwiches, juicy sliders, and other favorites.

FELICE pasta bar SA Hospitality Group has opened Italian-inspired restaurants, serving up home-cooked food that has attracted a chic New York scene: the FELICE Pasta Bar at Time Out Market is the team’s first foray into all things Brooklyn. They will offer fresh pasta full of the authentic flavors of Tuscany.

Wild bklyn With BKLYN Wild at Time Out Market, Ivy Stark is embracing a healthy plant-based menu that focuses on local ingredients that are actually local, like in Brooklyn.

Clinton St. Baking Company Chef Neil Kleinberg and DeDe Lahman, who co-own the Lower East Side hot spot, offer their iconic brunch products – think egg sandwiches and pancakes – that New Yorkers line up for every weekend.

Mr. Taka Coming this summer. Chef Takatoshi Nagara and Takayuki Watanabe will present their creative take on Tonkotsu Ramen, which has an unmatched pedigree in ramen cooking.

Our multiple bars will also be well stocked to welcome you back in style. In addition to beer, wine, and cocktails, you can also sample a wide selection of local beers at a new Brooklyn Brewery Bar on the fifth floor.

Since we are all still adjusting to our outing, you will be able to use the Time Out Market app to order without contact at all the vendors and bars in the market. (You can even select multiple items from different restaurants to create your dream meal.) If you prefer to eat at home, you can also order a meal from the market for delivery on UberEats, DoorDash, and Caviar.
