“The sattwic diet is high in fiber, low in fat, vegetarian and perfectly balanced. Cooked foods, eaten within three to four hours of preparation, are also considered sattwic. Whole grains such as rice, wheat, oats, millets, legumes, lentils and legumes, milk, seasonal vegetables and fruits, ghee, honey, jaggery are all examples .
