As previously announced, two fireworks meal packages are now available at EPCOT. These packages include multiple food and beverage options, as well as reserved seating for ‘Harmonious’ viewing, at the Rose & Crown or Spice Road table. Since reopening under Disney control, Spice Road Table has been a delightful dining experience, so we were thrilled to try this new dining package.
As a small group of only two, we were seated at a smaller table further out of the lagoon. It didn’t bode well for the fireworks, but we got to have dinner first.
The fireworks package includes a drink, a plate of desserts and the choice of two small plates. The menu includes items similar to what is available at a standard meal.
There is also a children’s menu.
Let’s start with the drinks. We ordered the three specialty mimosas.
Hibiscus Mimosa
The hibiscus tastes more like a rosé wine than a mimosa, but it was our favorite of the three.
Pomegranate Mimosa
Each mimosa is very champagne, which we have no complaints about. This one was like champagne with a touch of fruit punch.
Blood Orange Mimosa
This one tasted the most champagne, with hardly any aroma.
Then comes the food. Considering the late hour of the fireworks, these small plates aren’t meant to be a full dinner party, but could be if you wanted to wait.
Spicy dolmas and shrimp dishes are new since our Spice Road Table review last year.
Dolmas
Grape leaves stuffed with rice and herbs, marinated olives, charred lemon
It was a delicious dish full of flavor.
There was just the right amount of acidity. The texture of the dolmas was soft instead of crisp.
The lemon was great when squeezed over the dish and we could taste the char.
Spicy prawns
Chili, garlic, peri peri sauce
The shrimp had a mild heat. It was well done and not over done or chewy. However, it was a fatty dish.
It came with two slices of toast, which was great for dipping in the extra sauce.
Grilled lamb kefta
Tzatziki, radish, blistered cherry tomato
The lamb kefta is amazing. Having a flavor profile similar to the lamb sliders from the old Spice Road Table menu, these are a bit denser and less mushy. The chopped mint inside really enhances the taste. He’s a winner.
Hummus fries
Citrus-chipotle and candied lemon
The hummus was great. It contained a lot of tahini, making it extra smooth and creamy.
The fries are very good and spicy. The vegetable mix helps cool things down and balance everything out, which makes this dish not only unique but tasty.
Dessert platter
Baklava and assorted cookies
The saragli, or rolled baklava, was the best we have had in our life, even better than under previous management. It was perfectly flaky and had just the right amount of nuts.
The almond croissant cookie was also fantastic. It’s a bit dry, like Moroccan pastries tend to be, but the flavor is wonderful.
The Karithopita was perfectly humid. It was almost too sweet thanks to an overabundance of honey. We enjoyed everything about this dessert plate.
Fireworks
As we mentioned, our view of the fireworks was not ideal with a pillar directly blocking our view. We asked if we could get a different table but were told no.
If you want to sit for the duration of “Harmonious” – which can be part of the allure of reserved viewing – you’d better go with a bigger party and hope you’re sitting near the edge. from the patio.
Having said that, we were allowed to stand up and walk over to the railing for a better view.

Globally
It was a cute experience with great food. The dolmas dish was our favorite. However, this is not something we would do everything we could to redo, especially given our perspective.
