Lock Upp: Payal Rohatgi criticizes Sara Khan for having smoked “in secret” on the show, Sara replies: “Don’t become my mother” | Web series

Payal Rohatgi has attacked fellow Lock Upp contestant Sara Khan for “secretly” smoking on the show. The fight started when Sara complained about the spicy food prepared by Payal and caused sourness in some of the contestants. The host of the current reality show, Lock Upp, Kangana Ranaut appears on the show on weekends. (Also read: Lock Upp: Anjali says Kaaranvir asked her to pretend to have feelings for him)

On a recent episode of Lock Upp, Sara complained about the excess garam masala in the food Payal had prepared and Sidharth Sharma didn’t eat his food while listening to her. Payal then confronted Siddharth and told him that he should have at least tasted the food for himself instead of taking Sara’s word for it. She also said that spicy food is not the only reason, smoking also causes acidity.

Later, Sara was seen confronting Payal and the latter said that she didn’t say that Sara smokes a lot. However, Payal added, “I have been talking about passive smoking for several days. Aap sati savitri bani phirti ho. Bolo na hum bhi smoke karte hain (You are acting pious. Say you smoke too). hide it, at least Poonam doesn’t hide it.” Tehseen Poonawalla asked Payal not to talk about it as Sara’s parents would be watching the show. Payal then added, “Her family should also know that she smokes.”

An upset Sara cried and told Nisha Rawal, “I never break some boundaries in front of my parents. My family will know what I want to tell them and they already know everything. You (Payal) don’t become my mother and say. Payal interrupted to say she had no such intentions.

Later, Sara and Payal apologized. Both confessed that they were too emotional and sensitive, and promised to better understand each other’s feelings next time.

Lock Upp is a new reality show and it started airing recently. Ekta Kapoor supports the show which airs on Alt Balaji and MX Player.
