Indian takeaways with worst food hygiene ratings in Leicestershire named

It’s the weekend – so that means it must be time for a takeaway!

If you’re craving a curry, there’s no shortage of places to order your food – but which one to choose?

In addition to the dishes available, an important factor in your decision will likely be the food hygiene rating.

Wherever food is served, there must be a food hygiene rating, which is assigned by the local authority. These range from zero – which means urgent improvement is needed – to five, which is the highest standard of hygiene possible.

We looked at the ratings of Indian takeaways (and restaurants offering takeaways) in Leicestershire and found that there were none with a rating of 0 or 1, which was nice.

However, there are many with a rating of 2 – indicating that improvement is needed.

So here are the Indian takeaways with a rating of 2 – as they appeared on the FSA website on Tuesday 25th January.
