There is some exciting news for foodies as the owner of Fosse Park today revealed that more restaurants will be heading to the retail destination very soon.
The Crown Estate has confirmed that new food outlets, including other brands from Leicestershire, will open at Food Central, part of the new Â£ 168million extension of Fosse Park which opened in the month latest.
As LeicestershireLive revealed last month, that includes local independent brands, Indian street food supplier Chaiiwala, burger specialist Boo and Fattoush Urban Lebanonese Kitchen.
In addition, famous local brand Grounded Kitchen will join the line, bringing its nourishing, Korean-inspired, nutrient-dense bowls to Fosse Park customers.
Another Leicestershire company opening a branch at Food Central is ISHA Patisserie, which is described as ‘an exciting new concept in baking’, offering breakfast, lunch and drinks.
A branch of the Thai restaurant chain, Thai Express, also comes to the renovated food court.
Michael Bell, Senior Asset Manager at The Crown Estate, said: âFosse Park has been a popular destination in the Leicester area for the past 30 years. Our ambition is for the new extension to support this legacy by welcoming new and exciting companies based in Leicestershire and showcasing local talent.
âThese new names will be a fantastic addition and provide great diversity and choice for visitors, alongside some of the country’s best-known food and restaurant brands.
âIt was great to see shoppers and visitors safely returning to Fosse Park over the past month to explore our new spaces. In the coming weeks, we hope to be able to announce even more brands at Fosse Park West and Food Central. “
The points of sale are now starting to fit out their units, with a view to opening in summer.
